The first appointment
Have you bought the dress of your dreams, but does it still need to be tailor-made? No problem! I would be happy to help you alter your wedding dress.
I recommend that you visit me approximately 8 weeks before the wedding date. We will then look at the dress together and discuss your wishes. I pin everything so that the fabric fits perfectly around your body and tell you what it will cost. Then I can start tailoring the wedding dress.
The second fitting session
The next (and final) appointment is 2 to 3 weeks later. You can then try the dress on again in my studio and if it fits completely to your liking, you can take it home immediately. If it is still necessary to adjust something, we still have time to do it before the wedding day.
I keep all extra fabric neatly with your dress. Nice to wrap around your bouquet or for another accessory.
Studio opening hours
I am in the studio every morning from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. If you have a preference for a day, please let me know. Would you rather come in the evening or on the weekend? That is also possible. The appointment takes approximately 30 minutes.
Costs of altering your wedding dress
Would you like to know approximately how much it will cost to alter your dress? From shortening the hem to taking in shoulder straps: everything is possible. Contact me and let me know what you would like to have adjusted. I can then give you an estimate of the costs.
Can I bring someone with me to the appointment?
Feel free to bring your mother, mother-in-law, sister, friend or neighbor. An extra pair of eyes can be helpful!
